Critsey Rowe’s great passion in life is photography. Her view of photography as an art process that tells of a moment, a glimpse of reality into a personal vision. She uses the tools of modern photography to capture an image that will inspire for generations.

She also gets the couples involved by asking them to collect tear sheets. Couples tear pages out of magazines, bringing in photos they like. The tear-sheet technique reflects Critsey’s photo-style. “It’s more modern than traditional, with Vanity Fair kind of photos.” By studying a couple’s tear sheets Critsey identifies the kind of photos the bride and groom want for their wedding day. “I had one couple who brought in close to a thousand tear sheets,” Critsey laughs, “but it was great because I saw that they were truly artsy and I was able to reflect that in their wedding photos.”

Some of the popular and unique services Critsey offers are “After Sessions,” The wedding day is so packed with traditions and a busy schedule of events that it leaves little time for the couple to take romantic photos, that’s why many couples are now choosing to get “after sessions,” romantic portraits taken of the bride and groom in their wedding attire. It’s becoming increasingly popular with newlyweds because it can take place up to a year after the event. Taking photos after the wedding allows the couple to feel more relaxed and act more natural, providing for some gorgeous shots.

Another unique service is the “Dress Fitting Session,” Every bride dreams of the perfect dress, why not capture those first surreal moments when you find that one dress and show the excitement and emotion to tell of your journey? The photographer’s job is to relieve the tension of your parents or friends from picture taking and let them enjoy the moment with you.
